Contract Hire is the ideal solution for organisations who want to avoid the financial risks and administrative burden of buying, running, servicing, & disposing of their own vehicle fleet.
A vehicle can be hired from Roberts-Penet for an agreed period and at a fixed monthly rental – the vehicle is simply returned at the end of the rental agreement with none of the risks of ownership.

Bespoke Vehicle Builds
We offer a complete bespoke body building service, designing and manufacturing vehicle bodies to meet your exact operational requirements. Whether you need arb bodies, cages, split bodies, tail lifts, or a fully customised solution, we can create a vehicle that works for your business.

Sales Vehicles
Our ex-rental vehicles are carefully selected and prepared for sale, giving you the confidence of knowing they have been professionally maintained throughout their life with us. Every vehicle comes with a full service history, has been thoroughly valeted, and is presented to a high standard.
For complete peace of mind, each vehicle is sold with a full 12 month MOT and a fresh service before handover, ensuring it is ready for the road from day one.
We also include a 6-month non-fault warranty on all retail vehicle sales. This consists of 3 months’ cover for all faults, followed by a further 3 months’ cover for engine, gearbox, and clutch-related faults. All warranty work is provided on a return-to-us basis.
Workshop Services
Our fully equipped in-house workshop keeps both our own fleet and customer vehicles maintained to the highest standards. We carry out a complete range of services, including MOT preparation, vehicle servicing, repairs, tail lift maintenance, and LOLER inspections, ensuring your vehicles remain safe, compliant, and roadworthy.
With experienced technicians and specialist equipment on site, we can provide efficient maintenance and repairs with minimal downtime. We also operate three dedicated breakdown vehicles, allowing us to offer rapid roadside assistance and on-site repairs for our fleet vehicles whenever required.
To help keep your business moving, we can also provide a relief vehicle while your vehicle is off the road and in our workshop. Available at a competitive hire rate, our relief vehicles minimise disruption to your operations and help ensure you can continue working with as little downtime as possible.
Office Space
We have office space available within the E H Roberts building, offering a professional and welcoming environment for businesses of all sizes. The offices are bright, well-presented, and benefit from shared facilities and easy access to local transport links.
Whether you’re a start-up looking for your first office or an established company needing additional workspace, our flexible office space provides a practical base with a friendly business community on site.
All offices are offered on a fixed-price rental basis, with all rates and utilities included for complete cost certainty and no hidden extras.
